DrillIQ is drilling software for operators and drilling contractors: well planning and engineering, real-time operations, geosteering, and the daily reports and cost tracking that close each day. It is built by drilling engineers and software engineers, for the rig floor and the office alike.
Where we come from
DrillIQ was founded in Muscat in 2022, in the middle of the region's energy sector. The team brings drilling engineering, directional drilling, well control and industrial data-systems experience from projects in the Middle East, the North Sea and Asia-Pacific.
What we build
One platform covers the well from plan to report: pore pressure and geomechanics, casing, cementing, BHA design, torque and drag, hydraulics, well control, geosteering, real-time monitoring and alarms, rig-state KPIs, daily reports and cost against the AFE. Every module uses the same well data, so a change in one shows in the others.
Each engineering result can be checked by hand. Our articles work the methods through on example wells with the same engines the platform runs.
How it fits your operation
- Real-time data over WITSML 1.4.1.1 and WITS0, with a rig-side agent that buffers through link outages. WITSML 2.0 and ETP are on the roadmap.
- Cloud, on-premises or rig-side: well data stays where your policy says it must.
- Decision support for qualified engineers: DrillIQ never controls rig equipment.
